We’re excited to work with the team running this year’s Billfish Blast Tournament at the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, FL. All proceeds from the tourney will go to the Twin Palms Center for the Disabled.

As usual with our featured Captains & Cause, all proceeds of what we sell online for the month of March go to Twin Palms. We’ve also donated reel covers to the Annual Charity Billfish Blast tournament.

Here’s everything you need to know about this month’s featured C&C…

What is the Twin Palms Center for the Disabled?

Twin Palms is a facility in Boca Raton that’s dedicated to helping adults with developmental disabilities. It was created to address an issue that all parents of disabled children face after 18 years: what to do when your kid becomes an adult?

Twin Palms sums it up nicely with their stated mission and goal…

The mission of Twin Palms Center is to improve the quality of life for individuals diagnosed with developmental challenges. We also dedicate this program to educating our community on the talents and abilities that these individuals possess. The goal of Twin Palms Center is to encourage individual growth, development, and socialization in a supportive environment. We will accomplish this objective while treating our clients with the dignity and respect that they seek and deserve.

Again, the Billfish Blast Tournament that’s happening this month is giving 100% of its proceeds to Twin Palms. High five to the Billfish Blast team for putting in the work to raise money for such a great cause.

What is the Billfish Blast Tournament?

The Billfish Blast Tournament is a good ol’ fashioned Florida fishing competition that’s happening March 3rd and 4th. It’s being held at the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo.
